Hello,
Hope anyone reading this is doing well and if anyone is new to the Norwalk area, welcome! I've only been here a year and I found that that the hardest thing to do around here is find a sport to participate in lol I see a lot of responses of people just looking to play and no one ever responds, so maybe this approach might be different
I want to set up a COED Softball team of Free Agents that essentially and (hopefully) will be filled with players that are new to the area and just want to have the peace of mind of just showing up to the game and continuing to play the sport they love, to make new friends in a new area, or to even just try something new. I've played on a few teams for a good chunk of years and the one thing I cant stand is a team that makes a player feel like they let their teammates down when they should of just been having fun. If you have the mindset where you are going to shake your head with pout because somebody fucked up, this thread may not be for you.
This team that (hopefully) gets formed will be a team that will have fun, meet new people, and play friendly competition, in the end we are all still getting rowdy with the same beer from the same keg in the same bar whether we won or lost.
With that said, I just want to create the peace of mind where you do not have to worry about organizing the team registration, setting lineups or even running practice. What I ask from everyone is commitment to the game schedule with proper communication on any games that you might miss and that everybody pays the league fees on time when the deadlines approach.
Lastly, if your still even reading this far, some dates to look after if you are interested, COED Softball League are on Thursdays and start April 24th. As mentioned, I can take care of everything, just need everyone to pay the league fees and show up to games
If this is the peace of mind you're looking for, shoot me an email at mario.acuna91@gmail.com or shoot me a text @ 860-539-6353
Lets make it happen!
